Dr. Gene Sullivan, ND
Dr. Sullivan trained in holistic medicine to understand best how to support the body’s own ability to heal and to provide solutions that enhance this process. Identifying both causes and solutions for health conditions that support the immune system, decrease inflammation, identify and reduce environmental toxicities and exposures, and reduce or eliminate pain are all part of his day-to-day. To do this, he encourages patients to become part of the decision-making process. He uses a “whole person” approach in determining the most effective treatment plan that supports a return to health.
Dr. Sullivan has a particular interest in finding solutions for treatment-resistant health conditions. He places particular emphasis on determining the fundamental cause(s) of an illness to ensure that solutions are both appropriate and comprehensive. Equally important, Dr. Sullivan sees his role as both a doctor and as an educator. He understands the need for clear and relevant communication. An important component of his treatment is to teach strategies thatnhelp empower patients to more effectively manage their own health.
